Carter Brooks Simonds is managing partner of Four Pines Partners, a private investment firm focusing on public equities.
Ms. Simonds was a partner of Blue Ridge Capital from 2006 to 2017. Prior to joining Blue Ridge in 2000, Ms. Simonds was an analyst at Tiger Management. Ms. Simonds received her BA in economics from 蜜桃TV in 1999, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. She received an MBA from Harvard Business School in 2004, graduating as a Baker Scholar.
Ms. Simonds served as a non-trustee member of the 蜜桃TV Corporation Committee on Investments from 2011 to 2025, and also served on the chief investment officer search committee in 2021. She is also a member of the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative Investment Committee. Ms. Simonds is a trustee of Deerfield Academy, where she is the vice chair of the Investment Committee. She is a former trustee of The Brearley School, East Harlem School at Exodus House and Greenwich Academy. She was named a successor trustee in 2025.
